Putnam County }   This indenture made the 25th day of September one thousand 
Eight hundred and sixteen between Leonard Crawford of Putnam County of the one 
part and Christian Vining of Jasper County of the other part, witnesseth that 
the said Leonard Crawfored for and in consideration of the sum of Ninety six 
dollars to him in hand paid before the sealing of these presents the the 
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, Bargained and sold and by 
these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Christian Vining her 
heirs and assigns a certain tract of parcel of land containing twenty two and a 
half acres being known and distinguished as part of Lot No 199 lying in the 
fourteenth district of Baldwin, now Putnam County beginning at a state corner 
on the S. East side of

said lot whereon Leonard Crawford's land corners thence S. West along Wm 
Brown's line to a stake corner on the original line of said Lot, thence along 
said line to a stake corner whereon Goldsmith corners, thence along Goldsmiths 
line to the beginning so as to contain twenty two and half acres, together with 
all and singular the rights & appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise 
appertaining unto the  said Christian Vining her heirs and assigns forever in 
fee simple. And that the said Leonard Crawford doth forever warrant and defend 
the said land from himself his heirs or assigns and from the claim of claims of 
all other person or persons whatsoever
In witness whereof the said Leonard Crawford hath set his hand and seal this 
the day and date above written.
