Putnam County, Deed Book B, page 66

State of Georgia      This Indenture made & entered into this 
Fourth Day of January Eighteen hundred & six, between William Cornelison and 
Nancy his wife of Wilkes County of the one part and Giles Tompkins of 
Oglethorpe of the other part  Witnesseth that we the said William Cornelison 
and Nancy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars 
to us in hand paid by the said Tompkins have granted, bargained and Sold and by 
these presents doth grant bargain Sell & release to the said Giles Tompkins his 
Heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or lot of land containing two hundred 
two and a half Situate and lying in the fourth District in Baldwin County & 
State aforesaid Known by number one hundred together all its appurtenances 
thereunto belonging and we the said William Cornelison and Nancy his wife will 
warrant and forever defend the above bargained premises to the above mentioned 
Giles Tompkins his Heirs and assigns forever  In witness thereof we set our 
hands and Seals in presence of

   Humphrey Tompkins                               Nancy Cornelison
   Argyle Norman
