Putnam County, Deed Book B, page 115

Georgia                  }  This Indenture made this 28th of March in 
Putnam Count        }  the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & eleven 
between Christopher B Strong  of the County & state aforesaid of one part and 
Giles Tompkins of the same State & County of the other part. Witnesseth that 
the said Christopher B Strong for and in consideration of the sum of two 
hundred dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged 
hath granted Bargained & sold & by these presents do grant bargain & sell unto 
the said Giles Tompkins all that tract or lot of land containing two hundred 
two and a half acres of land lying and being on the waters of Honey cutts creek 
in the nineteenth District of Baldwin County when surveyed now Morgan County in 
the State aforesaid which said tract or lot of land is Known & distinguished in 
the plan of the district aforesaid by lot number twenty nine & bounded by lots 
number four twenty eight, thirty & thirty Six as represented by the plat of 
said lot to have and to hold all & Singular the rights members and 
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to the said Giles 
Tompkins his Heirs and assigns forever in fee Simple  and the said Christopher 
B Strong for himself his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns doth warrant 
and forever defend the right & title of said tract or lot of land as before 
described from the claim of all & every other person or persons whatsoever  In 
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Day & date first above 
written
