State of Georgia             }  To all person to whom these presents  
Putnam County               }  shall come  I Giles Tompkins do Send Greetings 
know ye that I the said Giles Tompkins of the State & county aforesaid for & in 
consideration of the love & good will which I have and do have toward my loving 
son Nicholas Tompkins of the State & County aforesaid have given and granted & 
by these presents do give & grant unto the said Nicholas Tompkins his heirs & 
assigns all & sundry the following property now being in my possession 
consisting as follows To Wit  Two Lots of Land Situate & lying in the 4th 
district of formerly Baldwin Now Putnam County it being Lots No 99 & 100 
Containing Four hundred & five acres More or less also one other Lot of Land 
Situate lying & being in the 5th District of Wilkinson when surveyed it being 
Lot No 173 Containing Two Hundred two & one half acres more or less which Said 
Tracts on lots of Land I do hereby acknowledge to have ____  all right title or 
claim against Myself My heirs And assigns unto the Said Nicolas Tompkins his 
heirs & assigns forever in as full & ample a Manner as it was held by Me in 
Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & seal the 30 of April 1819
