Putnam County, Deed Book O, page 49

Georgia                  }  This Indenture made and entered into 
Putnam County      }   between Elisha Perriman of the one part and Giles 
Tompkins of the other part  Witnesseth that for and in consideration of Fifty 
Six Dollars ninety two cents to me in hand paid have bargained and sold and by 
these presents have bargained and sold unto Giles Tompkins a certain tract of 
Land Containing Ten thirty five hundreths acres more or less bounded as follows 
beginning at a corner forked post oak sapling being the original corner between 
said Tompkins and said Peryman running north Eastwardly Sixteen chains to a 
Stake Corner on the Milledgeville Road thence south Eastwardly down the Road 
Thirteen Chains fifty links to a Stake Corner thence to the beginning corner 
Eighteen chains.  For and in Consideration of the above sum Fifty six Dollars 
ninety two cents to me in hand paid I do warrant and defend the rights of Said 
Land to Giles Tompkins his heirs and assigns forever In witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and seal. This twenty fourth day of April eighteen Hundred 
& thirty two
