1819, January 17---This Indenture made between Cornelius Johnston unto Stephen
Hall for and in consideration of $45 dollars, hath bargained, sold and conveyed
a part of lot 157 / 14th District of Putnam County containing 22 ½ acres  known
and distinguished in the plan of said District by the above mentioned number 157
commencing at a black Oak on the road leading from Halls Mill on Murder Creek to
Jackson’s Mill on Little River, from thence to a corner pine on said road on
Johnston’s line.
