Witnesseth that the said Gideon Lincecum Tax collector for and in consideration of the sum of sixty dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath g granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said John I. Smith his heirs and assigns in and by virtue of the power in me vested as tax collector aforesaid all that tract or parcel of land or number of lots containing by estimation three acres lying in the Town of Eatonton and known in the plan of said town by square letter Y which said lots was granted to and returned by Edward Donoho of the county and state aforesaid as his taxable property for the year eighteen hundred and thirteen sold on the sixth day of September instantto satistfy the tax of the said Edward Donoho as due for the year eighteen hundred and thirteen and one lot of the same on the sixth day of September instant having been exposed to sale in the Town of Eatonton and county aforesaid and no bid being made therefor and the number of acres or lots being increased to three acres or six half acre lots the above mentioned John I. Smith being the highest and best bidder the same was knocked off to him at the sum or price of sixty dollars the tax due being eleven dollars and sixty two cents. To have and to hold the said lots of land together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said premises being belonging or in any wise appertaining with the remainder and remainders reversion & reversions rents and profits thereof to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said John I. Smith his heirs executors administrators and assigns in as full and ample a manner as it was held by the said Edward Donoho his heirs or assigns . In Witness whereof the said Gideon Lincecum Tax collector of the county and state aforesaid hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered In the presence of Waid Hill John C.
