1806, ____ 2---This Indenture made between John Smith unto Charles S. Hurt, both
of Putnam County for and in consideration of the sum of $575 dollars have given,
granted bargained and sold a certain tract of land drawn by David Smith, lot No.
139 in the 2nd District bounded by Charles S. Hurt line and James Whiteheads
line, Abraham Smiths line and Jonas Knights line, lot 125. A landing place
excepted for John Whitehead at his bridge on the Southwest side of Little
River. 			[Witnesses and recorded date blocked out on deed copy]
