Death And Ovituary Notices Of The Southern Christian Advocate January 27, 1857
Mrs. Mary Shirling was born April 15 1792 and died in Putnam CO GA at the home 
of her only son, B.B. Odom Dec. 1st 1874. She was married twice, first to 
brother Winbourn Odom and after his death to Isam Shirling, both of whom died 
before her. She joined the Methodist Church in NOrth Carolina before sher 
first marriage. W.L. Wooden, Jr. New Orleans Advocate please copy.

Additional Comments:
The daughter Emily is not mentioned and not sure if she was alive or had died 
and can not find anything out about her.
