Eatonton Messenger Aug 15, 1919
	MRS. R.A. BOZEMAN DEAD
	One of the oldest and best loved women of Putnam County, died at her home near
Eatonton, August 6th. She was in her 94th year and leaves a large number of
descendants to mourn her loss. Five children, 23 grand children, 49 great grand
children and three great great grand children. 
	While quite young she was married to Benjamin Hawkins of the County, who died
in a few years leaving her with two boys, Messers. B.W. and J.W. Hawkins of
Nona, Georgia. She afterwards was married to Mr. R.A. Bozeman also of the
County. He died leaving her with three children, Mrs. I.K. Wallace, Mr. Billie
Bozeman, also of Nona, Ga. and Mr. Bob Bozeman of Macon. 
	She was a true Christian woman and lived that her light did shine and others
were made happy about her for she always had a smile and cheerful word for all. 
	She's gone but not forgotten, dead, yet she still lives in the hearts of those
who knew her for to know her was to love her.


Additional Comments:
Mrs. R.A. Bozeman is Ridley Ann Ward, born May 1826, daughter of Anderson Ward
and Lydia Rousseau. She married Benjamin W. Hawkins on May 29, 1845 in Jones
Co., Ga and they had two sons, Benjamin William Hawkins and John Wesley Hawkins.
Benjamin died before 1850 and she then married John A. Bozeman on Feb 2, 1854 in
Putnam Co. and they had a daughter and two sons. Ridley Ann is buried in Mt.
Ararat Methodist Church cemetery beside her second husband, Mr. J.A. Bozeman.
