Eatonton, Ga., January 7- In the death of Captain Cullen Ezell, Putnam loses one of her most honored and respected citizens. He was one of the eleven remaining soldiers of the "Immortal Six Hundred," and up to the time of his death he was a most partiotic and loyal veteran. Like Jefferson Davis and Stonewall Jackson, he never took the oath of allegiance, a fact that he was proud of. He is survived by his widow and two daughters, Gussie and Estalnea, and three sons, all grown. He was buried Tuesday afternoon with military honors in Pine Grove cemetery.
