Southern Christian Oavocate Death and Obituary notices issue of Jan 27, 1875
Mrs. Mary Shirling was born April 15th 1792 and died in Putnam Co GA at the 
home of her only son B.B. Odom Dec. 1st 1874. She was married twice, first to 
brother Winbourn Odom and after his death to Isam Shirling, both of whom died 
before her. She joined the Methodist Church in North Carolina before her first 
marriage. W.L. Wooden, Jr. New Orleans Advocate please copy.

Additional Comments:
Believe the last name of last line should be W. L. Wooten Jr. 
No mention of a daughter Emily so not sure if she was alive or died young.
