It was her desire that when the end came, to die and be buried at the old home. She was laid to rest in the family burial ground on Friday Dec 5th, 1913. She was the widow of Mr. James Pinkerton who preceded her to the grave ten years ago. The funeral services were conducted by Prof. Garris. Mrs. Pinkerton was formerly Miss Mary Frances Harrison. She leaves five sons with their families, to mourn her loss, besides many true friends who loved her dearly. She has been for many years a consistent a member of the Methodist church. Her friends always felt an inspiration to be in her company. Of her it can be truly said, “She hath done what she could,” and is now at rest in a blessed immortality. Additional Comments: James is the son of James Pinkerton and Elizabeth J. Dupree Mary Francis is the daughter of Alexander Brown Harrison and Lucy Wright.
