The Rev. Mike Willard officiated and interment followed in Philadelphia Methodist Church Cemetery. Ermine Pinkerton was a native of Oconee County, Georgia, the daughter of Augustus Lee Hill and Julia Moseman and she was a longtime resident of Putnam County. She was the widow of Benjamin A. Pinkerton and she was a self employed dairy farmer and was also a member of Philadelphia Methodist Church. She is survived by son Benjamin K. Pinkerton, Eatonton, daughter, Julia Murphy of Macon, sisters Willie Lou Carter of Eatonton, Anne Greene of Macon, Julia Daniel of Griffin, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Armour Maddox, Clifford Marshall, Curly Sammons, Robert Carter, Joe Hawkins and Russ Hicks. Vining Ivey Hill Chapel in Eatonton was in charge of arrangements Additional Comments: Ermine Hill was born Apr. 4, 1918 in Watkinsville, Oconee Co., Ga. She married Benjamin Alexander Pinkerton, son of James Alexander Pinkerton and Bessie Randall Hawkins, on Oct. 23, 1938 in Eatonton. They had a son, Bennie K. Pinkerton of Eatonton and a daughter, Julia Murphy of Macon, Ga.
