Felps of the State of Georgia and the County of Putnam being Weak of Body but of Perfect mind and Memory do make Ordain and Constitute thuis my Last Will and Testament. In the name of God Amen, Viz 1st. I lend to my wife Falby during her natural life or Widowhood all my land, negroes, household goods, horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, plantation tools and all other articles which are not herein particurlurly named and which may not be herein after accepted. 2nd. At the death of my wife Falby I will that my land 405 acres whereon I now live be equally divided between my 3 sons namely Joseph L.D. Felps, Aventon Felps and Henry C. Felps. 3rd. I will that at the death of my wife Falby that three Negroes namely Clary a Negro woman, Will a Negro Fellow and a Nathan a Negro Fellow be sold for cash and out of the proceeds of said sale for my son William D. Felps to have the sum of $500.00 and son John Felps to have the sum of $200.00 and to my Daughter Elizabeth Felps $400.00. 4th. I will that at the death of my wife Falby that 1 Negro Girl by the name of Jin, be the property of my Daughter Rachel Reynolds, formerly Rachel Felps. 5th. At the death of my wife Falby I will to my Daughter Mary Jellett formerly Mary Felps 1 Negro Girl by the name of Nancy. 6th. At the death of my wife Falby I will to my Daughter Emily Tobin formerly Emily Felps 1 Negro Girl by the name of Susanah. 7th. At the death of my wife Falby I will to my Daughter Falby 1 Negro Girl by the name of Eliza also feather bed and furniture, which said bed is now called hers. 8th. At the death of my wife Falby I will to my Son Joseph L.D. Felps 1 Negro Boy by the name of Isaac and also 1 Bed and Furniture. 9th. At the death of my wife Falby I will to my Son Aventon Felps 1 Negro Boy by the name of Levi and 1 Bed and Furniture. 10th. At the death of my wife Falby I will to my Son Henry C. Felps 1 Negro Boy by the name of Ned and 1 Bed and Furniture. 11th. At the death of my wife Falby I will to my Daughter Amanda Malvina Felps 1 Negro Woman by the name of Jinny and her youngest child Sarah and all her children that said Negro may have from this time also 1 Bed and Furniture. 12th. At the death of my wife Falby I will that all my Property that are not herein Particularly disposed of Should be Sold for Cash and the Proceeds of Said Sale of the Negros herein Mentioned to be Equally Divided amongst my Eleven Children. 13th. In Case that any of the Negro Women should have Children before the death of my wife Falby except the Negro Woman to Amanda Malvina Felps to be Sold for Cash and Divided of so aforesaid. 14th. I Appoint my Wife Falby Felps my Lawful Executrix and Charles R. Waller my Lawful Executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
