Will of William Leveritt 06 Jan 1812 Putnam County, GA In the name of GOD. amen. I William Leveritt of the County of Putnam & State of Georgia being very sick & weak in body but of sound & perfect mind & memory thanks be to GOD. Calling to mind the mortality of my body & knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, I do make & ordain this my Last will & testament that is to say principally & first of all I give & recommend my Soul into hand of ALMIGHTY GOD that gave it & my Body I recommend to the Earth to burried in a decent burial at the discretion of my Exectors and as tuching such worldly estate where with it has pleased God to bless me with in this Life. I give divise & dispose of the same in the following manner & form --- First of all I give & bequeath to my beloved wife all my property both real & personal to hold posses & enjoy the same fully & quietly for & during her widowhood or untill youngest child comes of age & if it should so happen that she should marry then it is my express wish to have all my property equally divided between my beloved wife & children namely Catherine Leveritt, John Leveritt, Burrel Leveritt, Letitia Leveritt, Becknes Leveritt, Luscinda leveritt, Asena Leveritt, Telbitha Leveritt, and lastly I do ordain constitute & appoint Joseph White Celia Leveritt & Ranaal Robinson my sole Executors of this my last Will & Testament, and I hereby utterly disalow revoke & all and every other former testament wills.
