This certifies that Jasper Singleton Anderson and Mattie Kathleen Ogletree were 
united in marriage on the 30th day of August in the year of our Lord 1922 at 
Georgetown, Ga. by Judge R. E. Methvin.  Witness, Florence Methvin Witness, 
Mrs. R. Methvin.

Jasper Singleton Anderson died Sept. 29th 1966, buried Ogletree cemetery at 
Georgetown.
Mrs. Riggins died July 15, 1972
Mrs. Rozier died Dec. 19, 1974
Eddye Graddy McDaniel died July 25, 1972
Deck Rosier died Apr. 1975
Joe Gary (Killed Jan. 30, 1978)
Edward Balkcom died May 25, 1973
Lottie Rosier died Sept. 17, 1973
Merle Fillingme died Apr. 2, 1981
Margaret Colbert died Sept. 29, 1982, buried in West View Cemetery in Atlanta, 
Ga.  (She was Papa's youngest sister's only daughter, Aunt Baby Sims)

My mother was Ether Alberta Surles, my father was Samuel Rice Ogletree.  My 
mother was born March 20, 1882.  My mother died Oct. 30, 1945.  My father died 
July 28, 1926.  He was born Oct. 24, 1874.  My brother Jim Ogletree was born 
Feb. 10, 1906, died Aug. 20, 1964.  Annie Jean Ogletree, my oldest sister was 
born 1910 Apr. 2, died May 19, 1969.  Bill Ogletree, my brother was born Feb. 
10, 1908, died Sept. 13, 1969.  Julian Russell (Bub) Ogletree was born Jan. 11, 
1901, died Oct. 13, 1969.  Henry Newton (Sing) Ogletree was born Feb. 13, 1902, 
died May 13, 1970.

Ruth Acterman Ogletree, wife of S. A. Ogletree died Jan. 1st 1984, she was from 
Cincinnati.

Oct. 5, 1985 Carey Hammond died this day with a massive heart attack, he hadn't 
been sick.  He married Christine Anderson.  They had 3 children, Jasper was the 
oldest, Irma was the daughter then Wayne, the youngest.

Bulah Williams Ogletree who married Jim Ogletree, died Oct. 4, 1970.  She was 
from Eufaula, Ala.  They had one daughter, Jackie, who married a boy from 
Cuthbert, Ga.  His name is George Shepard.  They have one boy, George Shepard 
III.

R.  Leslie Smith (Smitty) died Sept. 11, 1974.  He married Mabel Ogletree, who 
first married Billy King, had two boys, Billy & Johnny King.

George Ogletree died Aug. 19, 1980.  He was born Sept. 29, 1912.  He married 
Marie Johnson in Lake Providence, La. the first time.  She died with cancer, 
leaving him with three small children, Charm, George, & Sam Maxie.  He married 
the last time to Florence Ellis of Quitman County, Ga., where they lived until 
he died.

S. A. Ogletree was born June 24, 1899, he died in Nov. 1980  He married Ruth 
Acterman from Cincinnati, Ohio.  They had one boy, Samuel Albert Ogletree, who 
lives in Jaxonville, Fla.  He married a German girl, Fran.  They have twins, 
Sammy & Debbie, also Ronny and Ruthie.  They all live in Jaxonville except 
Sammy, he lives in Cincinati.

John B. Preston (born April 3, 1919) married Merle Louise (Tempie) Ogletree. He 
died Feb. 17, 1983.  He is buried in Ogletree lot in Georgetown Cemetery.  
Their child, Vivian Elizabeth Preston was born in Tifton Aug. 12, 1951.  She 
married Benjamin Sellers on Oct. 15, 1983 at Chapel, Emory at Oxford, Ga.  A 
son, John Preston was born 2-2-1985

Russel Surles died Oct. 1985, he was T. L. Surles child, he had two boys but I 
don't have any data on their children.  Their parents were T. L. Surles and 
Madge Lokey Surles.  They were raised orphans.  Aunt Madge was from Clay County 
and she had an aunt who raised the boys until they could get on their own.  Her 
name was Miss Minnie Stanley.

On June 5,  1923 Frances Kathryn was born to us who  later married Thomas 
Edward Gary.  They were married on June 29th 1951.
