In addition to the seventeen listed, there are several unidenfied children of the HARRISON family, probably other members of the CRAWFORD family, and possibly some members of the William OLIVER family. The last person to be buried in the cemetery was Col. William HARRISON in September, 1914. Captain Edward B. BRANNON, who was buried here in 1876, was removed to the Georgetown Cemetery in 1919. This cemetery listing was given to me by Dr. Malcolm Lester of Davidson College, Davidson, North Carolina. Dr. Lester donated two pews and two flower stands to the City of Westville at the demise of his mother, Mrs. Emmie Lester. These pieces were handmade by Reverend Crawford for the Georgetown Church and came into Mrs. Lester's possession when they were sold by the church. The land on which this cemetery is located has been sold. The new owner has cleared the cemetery of trees and bushes and plans have been made to place a fence around it to protect the site. There are no marked graves. Mr. Frank Bledsoe Dr. Malcolm Lester "Cemeteries and Churches of Quitman County, Georgia" by Jacquelyn M.
