CHURCH CEMETERY (African - American) Alice Mae EVERETT b Mar. 11, 1924 d Oct. 28, 1983 Ever LEWIS Mary Jane ALEXANDER John MATTOX Diana SMITH Mercer ALEXANDER Sarah McCloud FIELD Charlie FIELD Young LYNN Albert FORD Jr. Tom BROOKS Walter BROOKS b June 3, 1876 d Nov. 1, 1956 Sampson McCOY Bose ALEXANDER Mattie ALEXANDER This cemetery is found off from the church site, with a little one-room school house just above it. It is known that there are many graves on this hillside. There are a few cement slabs, but most of the graves are recognized by large stones and sunken areas. Most of the above names were given to me by Mrs. Maude Alexander. She was a member of the church for many years. To locate the cemetery take the first paved road to the right off the Hatcher Road, go about a mile and a half and look for the little school house on the left side of the road.
