Note: Exact transcription follows; original syntax retained, except as noted. 109 Georgia } This indenture made Rabun County } and entered into this seventeenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hun- dred and sixty Between Absolem Brown of the one part of the State and County aforesaid and William C. Watson of the State of North Carolina and county of Jackson of the other part witnesseth that the said Absolem Brown hath and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of there presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowle- dged granted bargained and sold and by these do grant bargain and sell [unto] the said William C. Watson two hu- ndred and forty five acres of Land a part of lot No. one hundred it being the west end of said lot to a condition- al line caling for a locust and post oak marked runing north and south from one side of said lot to the other It lying and being in the third district of the county of Rabun and state of Georgia, know and distinguished in the plan of said district by number one hundred, To have and to hold the above bargained premises the said William C. Watson his heirs and assigns forever and the said Absolem Brown from himself his heirs and assigns of the above bargained tract or lot of land will warrant and for- ever defend [unto] the said William C.
