I was born in Rabun Co, GA about 1845. I claim relationship to the Cherokee Indians through my mother, Polly Williams, who was a half blood Cherokee Indian and she claims through her father, Free Will, who was a full blood Cherokee Indian. My mother was born in Oconee Co., SC about 1828. I do not know where Free Will was born and I never saw him. My mother told me that her father, Free Will, was a full Indian. She never told me whether they lived among the Indians or not. I know nothing further about my connections. Test: M. L.
