L. C. Dotson, of Mtn. City, was buried at Mtn. City last Tuesday afternoon at the Blue Heights Cemetery. Mrs. Dotson had been in feeble health for some time, and had recently undergone an operation at Angel Hospital, at Franklin, and though seemingly with a chance for recovery she died last Sunday night, January 17th, and her remains were brought back to her home at Mtn. City for burial. Mrs. Dotson was one of the most beloved women of Mtn. City and was active in all the affairs of her community, being a member of the Baptist church and the Eastern Star. The funeral was held at the Blue Heights Baptist Church and in charge of her pastor Rev. Robert Hamby, and the Order of the Eastern Star. The deceased leaves besides her husband a son, Curtis Dotson, 17 years of age, and a mother and two brothers; Charles and John Donaldson and five sisters; Mrs. Lizzie Justus, Mrs. Fannie Laudermilk, Mrs. May Dotson, Miss Marie Donaldson and Miss Lula Donaldson. The Tribune extends condolences to the bereaved ones.
