Noted Georgia Educator Passes Away

Atlanta – Miss Celeste Parrish, the noted Southern pedagogist and assistant
supervisor of the rural schools of Georgia, died at the home of her adopted
daughter, Mrs. James Stunt, of Clayton, Ga. and was buried there.  Miss Parrish
was a leading spirit in the Georgia educational association in the Georgia
federation of women’s clubs and she was a member of the state board of the
woman’s committee of the council of national defense.
