Will of William McCurry 30 Mar 1863 Rabun County, GA WILLIAM L. McCURRY State of Georgia Rabun County I, William L. McCURRY of said state and county being of sound disposing mind and memory deem it right and proper both as it respect myself and family that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me. I do therefore make this my last will and testament hereby revoking and annulling all others by me heretofore made. I term first I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and christain like manner suitable to my circumstance and condition in life. _______ second I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Merlinia A. McCURRY all my real estate consisting of fraction of lots of land numbers are one hundred and eighty seven /187/ one hundred and eighty eight /188/ one hundred eighty nine /189/ and one hundred ninety one /191/all lying and being in the Thirteenth District of originaly Habersham now Rabun county with all the right numbers & affectenance to said fractions on lots of land in any use belonging free from all charges and limitations whatsoever to her own proper use benefit and behoof forever with full power to dispose of the same by will or otherwise as she may deem proper. I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife in the same unreserved manner all my personal effects wheresoever and whatever it may be. I term third I hereby constitute and appoint my wife Merlinia A. McCURRY was of a sound disposing mind and memory and that he executed the same freely and without compulsion so fare as they know or believe swore to before me and subscriber this 6 day of September 1869.
