I do not know the names of the cemetery these Gunn sites are in, and did not see where the name of the cemetery would be displayed (though I'm sure it's there somewhere). I've taken photos of all the monuments and headstones in each of the 2 sites, and I've included a short description of each photo below. It was very cold the day I took the photos, and should have spent more time documenting the photos, because in some of the photos you cannot read the inscriptions clearly. Some inscriptions are readable in person, but some are not due to them being extremely weathered and worn. GUNN CEMETERY SITE LOCATION ONE Here is what each photo contains: Filename Description http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030027.jpg A nice photo of the first of two Gunn cemetery sites. This site contains a beautiful and very large four sided monument as well as a smaller four sided cross monument. The site is enclosed with a short, ornate wrought iron fence. Inside this fenced site are several beautiful graves, and are documented with photos and descriptions. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030028.jpg This photo contains two graves, husband and wife, laid side by side. The first is: John D. Gunn, born February 24, 1864 and died January 5, 1938 The second is: Mattie Wilkerson, wife of John D. Gunn, born June 30, 1868 and died November 3, 1926 http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030029.jpg This photo contains one grave, Susan H. Douglass The inscription on the headstone is "Our Mother Susan H. Douglass" http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030030.jpg This photo contains one of two identical grave settings, laid side by side. This one is Carl Morrison Allen, born July 7, 1884 and died July 10, 1960. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030031.jpg This photo contains the second of the two identical graves, laid side by side (see previous photo). This one is Susie Gunn, wife of Carl Morrison Allen, born January 20, 1891 and died June 22, 1989. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030033.jpg This photo shows one side of the beautiful, very large Gunn monument. This first side shows the following inscriptions: J. McK Gunn, born December 14, 1822 and died January 15, 1883 Susan D. Gunn, born November 14, 1833 and died November 22, 1904. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030034.jpg This photo shows another side of the Gunn monument. This side shows the following inscriptions: Carl M. Allen born July 7, 1894 and died July (my eyes are bad and this date can't be read correctly in the photo - this needs to be verified onsite and this documentation updated). http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030035.jpg This photo shows a headstone, and belongs to Eugene Peerman. The inscription is unreadable in this photo. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030036.jpg This photo shows a closer shot of the previous photo, for Eugene Peerman. The inscription is partially worn, and I have inserted ? for one or more letters. Inscription: Eugene Peerman Only child of J. McK & S. D. Gunn Born October ? Died July ? http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030037.jpg This photo contains one inscription at the bottom of the large cross monument in the first Gunn cemetery site. Susan H. Douglass, born December 27, 1784 and died December 21, 1886. GUNN CEMETERY SITE LOCATION TWO The next group of photos was taken of the second of the two Gunn cemetery sites in the cemetery. The headstones in this cemetery are older and very weathered. It is difficult to read many of the headstone inscriptions in the photos. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030042.jpg This photo shows one side of an older Gunn monument, for W. C. Gunn The inscription shows W. C. Gunn born June 30, 1844 and died September 24, 1893. Another photo was taken of this, see photo P3030061.jpg. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030043.jpg This photo shows the opposite side of the Gunn monument in the previous photo. The inscription reads: Thou wast precious in my sight Thou hast been honorable And I have loved thee http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030044.jpg This photo shows the grave of Neta Gunn Barham, showing the Barham inscription. I took another photo of this grave, from another angle. See next photo. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030045.jpg This photo shows the grave of Neta Gunn Barham. The inscription reads Neta Gunn Barham wife of F. A. Barham, born August 7, 1882 and died September 17, 1922. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030046.jpg This photo shows two gravesites in front of the Gunn monument. The inscriptions on these two graves are not readable in the photo, and I did not write these down. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030047.jpg This photo shows a weathered headstone for a child's grave site. The inscription reads: Boyette (?) Callaway (?) Infant son of E. D. & G. B. Callaway born November 2, 1899 and died August 17, 1900. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030048.jpg This photo shows two gravesites. The first (left) headstone is unreadable in the photo. The inscription on the second (right) headstone shows: Burton Douglass Smith, born January 28, 1892 and died March 5, 1892. Below the dates is Baby inscribed. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030049.jpg This photo shows two gravesites. These are both unreadable in this photo. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030050.jpg This photo shows the bottom of one side of the Gunn monument, which is inscribed with Callaway. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030051.jpg This photo shows the entire second Gunn cemetery site, with the first Gunn cemetery site in the background. There is a short, older wrought iron fence surrounding this site. This Gunn site has 2 pinnacle style monuments, and are beautiful. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030052.jpg This photo shows one side of the Callaway monument and is inscribed with: John H. Callaway, born January 25, 1817 and died December 8, 1893. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030053.jpg This photo shows the opposite side of the Callaway monument and is inscribed with: Sarah J. Callaway, born January 16, 1825 and died April 20, 1897. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030054.jpg This photo is of the same headstone shown in photo PP3030047.jpg, as I tried to get another closeup shot of it. This is the headstone for the infant son Callaway. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030055.jpg This photo is of a headstone inscription, and all the words are not readable in this photo, unfortunately, because I remember the inscription is very touching. I do not remember the opposite side of this headstone, though more than likely it is the back of the infant son Callway headstone. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030056.jpg This photo is a closeup taken of the headstone for the Baby Burton Douglass Smith. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030057.jpg This photo is a closeup shot of the left headstone shown in photo named 3030048.jpg. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030058.jpg This photo is a closeup shot of the right headstone shown in photo named 3030048.jpg. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030059.jpg This photo is the headstone for a child, with inscription: Our Little Sweet Jennie Callaway Gunn, born ?, 1870 and died April 28, 1873. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030060.jpg This photo is another side of the Callway monument, with inscription: Neta Callaway Gunn, born March 12, 1845 and died August 28, 1923. A life of love and service for others. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/randolph/photos/cemetery/gunn/3030061.jpg Same as photo 3030042.jpg.
