STATE OF GEORGIA  RANDOLPH COUNTY
This document was hand written and very difficult to read 
(possible errors in the transcribing)

To whomsoever this may concern, be it understood that I Edward Pickins Thompson of 
the State and County of aforesaid for and in consideration of Two Hundred dollars 
to me in (which he) paid, the receipt  whereof is hereby acknowledged, to bargain, 
sell and convey unto John C. Taylor all that body of land containing fifty acres, 
lying on the forth front of Lot No. 144 in the 10th District Randolph County, Ga.
running__(parrallel??)__- said lot and I do bind myself my heirs or executors to 
warrant and forever defend the same against anyone claiming the same or any part 
thereof.
   In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 21st October, 1889.

Personally I knew W.D Fort (Font) who swears that he saw E.P.Thompson Jr sign, 
seal and deliver the above deed for the fee James therein stated and the deponent 
saw J.S. Hartsfield and E.P.Thompson Sr  signed same as witnesses there to.
