     Graveside funeral services were held in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson 
Sunday morning for Mrs. Dan E. Pace, 83, of Marianna, Fla., who died Saturday 
at a Dothan, Ala. hospital.  The Rev. Louis E. Gholson officiated.
     Mrs. Pace, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Hayes, was born in 
Randolph County and had formerly lived in Dawson, but for a number of years had 
lived in Marianna, Fla.  She was a member of the methodist Church.
     Survivors include two sons, Ross Pace and Gene pace, both of Marianna, 
Fla., and a number of grandchildren and other relatives.
