PP 147-149 Clement Bryan of Georgia, Randolph Co. Dated 14th May 1838 May 6th 1839 Wife Edith Bryan during her life or widowhood six negroes..two bay mares..furniture and the old barouche. Sons Eldest son Loverd Bryan, youngest son David C. Bryan, to Needham R. Bryan the second son. Daus. My daughter Mary S. Raines, fourth daughter, my oldest daughter, Sarah Evans. To Margaret W. Wiche I give all the demands I hold against her husband, George Wyche, she being my second daughter. To the amount of two thousand..to Charity L. Cheatham, my third daughter..to Edith Brown..my fifth daughter..To Ann Bryan my sixth daughter..to Grizzby R. Watts, my seventh daughter..to Emeline Watts my eighth and youngest daughter. To Loverd Bryan I give--an equal share of all the property that may be sold after my death not given.. in this life. TO Needham R. Bryan the share of property as unto Loverd..and to David C. Bryan i bequeth the following property and negroes..twelve negroes, ..horses, Rockingham the third part of the Jack Fellowship-the other two-thirds being the property of L & N. R. Bryan- the blacksmith tools, my new road wagon-some furniture and livestock...And all my lands being in this state in the county of Montgomery..I wish sold together with all the negroes and stock and property of any description not given in my will sold after my decease and the profits equally divided amonst all my heirs and after all just debts are paid...divide all ready cash and accounts which are due me collected to also be equally divided between my heirs..the deeds of gifts and bills of sales which I have hereto given some of my children..I further give unto my wife Edith Bryan the same as the above was given..five likely young cows and calves.
