It was a family cemetery where the family plantation was. It is now a part of Ft Gordon which is a blessing, because the Government agreed to keep up all the cemeteries that were on the land they took for a military base. It was fenced and mowed. The only graves there were Samuel's and Frances' and 3 infant slabs and a granddaughter.
