Washington Co. This indenture made the twenty seventh day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety one and in the fifteenth year of the Independence of the United States of America. Between Benjamin FEW of the county of Columbia and state aforesaid of this one part and Samuel MORGAN of the county of Notoway and state of Virginia of the other part witnesseth that the said Benjamin FEW for and in consideration of one hundred and fifty pounds lawful money of the said state to him on hand ? and truly paid by the said Samuel MORGAN ? or before the sealing and delivery of these presents. The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, release and confirm unto the said Samuel MORGAN his heirs and assigns. All that tract of parcel of land, situate lying and being in the county of Washington and state aforesaid on Ogechee River, containing two hundred eighty seven and an half acres, bounded at the time of survey northeastwardly by Ogeche River, northwest and southeastwardly by said FEW land, granted to said Benjamin FEW by grant bearing date fourteenth of June one thousand seven hundred and ninety (1790) reference ? being had may more fully appear. Together with all and singular the rights members and appointments thereof whatsoever to the said tract of land, being belonging or in any wise appertaining and the remainders, revisions, rents, ? and profits thereof and every part thereof and to have and to hold the said tract of land and all and singular, the ? and appertaining thereunto belonging as aforesaid and every part thereof unto the said Samuel MORGAN his heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and behalf of the said Samuel MORGAN his heirs and assignes forever. And the said Benjamin FEW for himself and his heirs the said tract of land and ? aforesaid and every part thereof unto the said Samuel MORGAN his heirs and assigns, against him the said Benjamin FEW himself and his heirs and all and every other person and persons whatsoever ? and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said Benjamin FEW hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written.
