State of Georgia,

Richmond County

Personally appeared before me, Elisha Anderson, who being duly sworn
saith that he is about to bring to this State One Negro Slave named
Fanny about Twenty years old that he is the true and lawful owner
of said Slaves; and that she about to be brought, imported or 
introduced into this State, for the sole purpose of being held to
service and labor by him, his heirs, executors, 
administrators or legatees, and without any intent to sell, transfer,
barter, lend, heir, mortgage, procure to be taken or sold under
execution or other legal process, or in any other way or manner to
alien or dispose of said Slaves, so as to vest the use or enjoyment
of her labor or service in any other person or persons for the life of
the said Slave, or for any other period of time, or in any other way or
manner to defeat, avoid or elude the true intent and meaning of the act
of the General Assembly of this State relative to the importation of
Slaves therein.

Sworn to be before me this 18th day of June 1821

Be it known, That Elisha Anderson
has this day taken an oath required by the act of the General Assembly
of this State relative to the importation of Slaves, therein in regard
to one Negro slave named Fanny about Twenty years old.
