We prefent as a grievance the want of a law to punish persons living in a state of adultery to the great injury of the good people in this state, also to provide for natural children. 9th. We prefent Samuel Germany and Rachael Hogg for living in a state of adultery; alfo Ifaac Atwood and Ann Gray; alfo Lewis Delany and Ann Graham’ alfo Mofes M’Whifter and Elizabeth Noe; alfo Samuel Nix and Mary Frail; alfo William Watkins and Polly Burgamy. Additional Comments: (Personal note: this should read Samuel Hix, there’s plenty more documentation to back this up. I believe it was a typo in 1788 but I copied it as the article read.)
