The Weekly Constitution, Atlanta, GA March 18, 1879
The Augusta Chronicle says that Mrs. Emma Austell has been adjudged to be 
insane by Judge W. F. Eve, of the county court, and ordered sent to the lunatic 
asylum at Milledgeville.  She has a child about eighteen months old, which has 
been taken in charge by responsible parties.  She fought desperately and 
screamed at the top of her voice when the infant was taken away from her, but 
it was absolutely necessary for the little creature's safety and comfort that 
this should be done.
