Mrs. Louis Allen

Sad Death Yesterday of A Resident of Augusta

After a long illness Mrs. Louis Allen died at 6 o'clock yesterday afternnon, at 
the Allen house, on Broad Street.  The usual sadness of death is increased by 
the fact that Mrs. Allen was only a few months married and has been taken to 
the great beyond at a time when life should hold forth promise of long earthly 
happiness. She was a young woman of many splendid qualities of heart and mind.  
A native of Thomson, she had lived long enough in Augusta to endear herself to 
a large circle of friends, who now mourn her loss, and sympathize deeply with 
her young husband, who in the greatest degree realizes her loss.
The funeral arrangements have not been made, but will be announced later.
