             DEATH YESTERDAY OF JAMES C. CARROLL
         Funeral Services to be Conducted This Afternoon
 Announcement is made of the death of James Cullus Carroll, 77, who died 
yesterday at his residence, 1941 Broad Street, after an illness of one year. 
Funeral services will be held at the residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock. 
Rev. G. F. Tyner will officiate. Interment in West View Cemetery.
 Mr. Carroll is survived by his widow, Mrs. Martha E. Carroll; three sons, T. 
E., R. L., and W. C. Carroll; five daughters; Mrs. W. R. Price, Miss Ella 
Carroll, Mrs. Emma Campbell, Mrs. G. P. Edenfield, and Mrs. R. L. Price; 
sister, Mrs. Ella Clary; 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
 Following will be the pallbearers: John H. Carroll, J. E. Jowers, O. B. 
Hughes, J. B. Chavous, J. A. Johnson, and M. F. Mathews.

James was born abt 1854 to James Y. Carroll and Catherine Reville Carroll. 
Georgia death certificate #26218. His first wife was Leenor Lena Clary and his 
second wife was Martha June Edenfield Carroll.
