                          Mrs. William C. Carroll
 Mrs. William C. (Bertha Epps) Carroll, 91, 926 Heard Ave., died Friday at an 
Augusta nursing home.
 The funeral will be held at 3pm today in Elliott Sons Telfair Street Chapel 
with the Rev. Edgar Murrah officiating. Burial will be in West View Cemetery.
 Mrs. Carroll was born in Columbia County, Ga., but lived in Augusta for most 
of her life. She was a housewife and a member of Crawford Avenue Baptist 
Church.
 Survivors inlcude one son, William E. Carroll, Charleston, SC; one daughter, 
Mrs. S. L. Shelton, Augusta; and one brother, J. Newton Epps, Augusta.
 Pallbearers will be Jim Buck, W. W. Smallwood, J. H. Gibson, Cecil N. Morris, 
James L. Hewette III, and Richard Albert.
  

Additional Comments:
Bertha was born 22 Sep 1884 to Joseph Edwin Epps and Martha Ann Holsonbake 
Epps. Georgia death certificate #034516.
