                       George Perry Edenfield
 Mr. George Perry Edenfield, 73, widower of Mrs. Lillie Simpson Edenfield, of 
601 Moore Avenue, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest at 10 a.m. Saturday, 
December 24, 1960, at Augusta hospital.
 Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Sons Chapel 
with the Rev. William Jones and Rev. Jesse Bowman officiating. Interment will 
be in the West View Cemetery.
 Mr. Edenfield was a retired textile worker and had lived in Augusta since 
1925.
 Survivors include two sons, George Thomas Edenfield and J.C. Edenfield, 
Augusta; three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Edenfield and Mrs. Mary Lou Beaufort, 
Augusta, and Mrs. Shirley Land, Millen Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Drury and 
Mrs. Myrtis Edenfield, Odum, Ga., and Mrs. Bertie Rollins, Jesup, Ga.; five 
brothers, Daniel Edenfield, Brunswick, Ga., Walter Edenfield, Jacksonville, 
Fla., Lloyd Edenfield, Augusta and Louis Edenfield and Gordon Edenfield, Jesup.


Additional Comments:
George was born 16 Mar 1901 to William Jethro Edenfield and Malatha Turner 
Edenfield. Georgia death certificate #043373. His first wife was Vianna "Anna" 
Carroll Edenfield.
