The Rev Leroy Harris will officiate and interment will be in West View Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be EG Wright, JE Stevens, Charlie Wylds, CC Wright, Rufus Holsonback and CT Duffell. Honorary pallbearers will be WA Mattison, FR Anderson, Jim Kennedy, Judge Oswell R Eve, Lawton Eubanks, Alfred Wilhelm, Dr WD Jennings, Dr AC Wade and Sheriff M Gary Whittle. Mrs Taylor, who was the widow of the late William Taylor, was a native of Campbell county, but had lived in Richmond County for the past 73 years. She was known to many Augustans who visited Meadow Garden, for she operated the spinning wheel in the historic Walton home on Washington's birthday anniversary for a number of years. She is survived by one son, Ellis Taylor of Goldsville, SC; one daughter, Mrs MC McDonald; on sister, Mrs Irvin Kelly, all of Richmond county; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
