Mrs Isabella C Kent Died Here Last Night
Funeral Services Tomorrow Afternoon at 5 O'clock
Mrs Isabella Cutstone Kent, widow of LW Kent and mother of Recorder Louis L 
Kent, Walter E Kent, Earnest F Kent, Mrs JT Plunkett and Mrs TH Stringer, died 
at the residence, 317 Estes Street, last night at 8 o'clock.  Mrs Kent was 78 
years old and was active until three days ago when she became ill.  Although 
weighted down with years, she held out hope of recovery and until the last her 
spirits were high and her confidence of recovery unshaken.
Mrs Kent had been a resident of this city for the past 65 years and was loved 
by all who knew her.  She was an active church worker and for many years was a 
devoted member of Asbury Methodist Church.  Her passing will leave a place in 
church circles which will never be filled and aside from those loving relatives 
who survive her, a wide circle of friends and admirers will mourn her death.
The funeral will be conducted from Asbury Church tomorrow afternoon at 5 
o'clock with Rev BF Mize, pastor of the church, officiating and interment will 
follow in West View Cemetery.
The survivors are:  three sons, Louis L, Walter E and Earnest F Kent; two 
daughters, Mrs JT Plunkett and Mrs TH Stringer; three sisters, Mrs Elizabeth 
Taylor, Mrs Caroline Mills and Mrs Irene Kelly; seventeen grandchildren and 
nine great grandchildren.
