Touchstone Rites to be Held Today
Funeral services for John Wesley Touchstone, 75, of 643 Eve Street, will be 
held at the Crawford Avenue Baptist Church this afternoon at 4 o'clock.
The Rev Eugene R Eller will officiate, and interment will follow in West View 
Cemetery.
A retired textile worker, he had lived in Augusta for the past 43 years.  He 
was born in Macon, a son of Benjamin Touchstone and Mrs Susan Holliman 
Touchstone.
Mr Touchstone was a faithful member of the St Luke Methodist church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Bertha Greene Touchstone; two daughters, Mrs 
Mary Wicklem of Jacksonville, Fla, and Mrs Sadie Anderson of Augusta; four 
sons, James Touchstone and Russell Touchstone, both of Augusta, Johnnie 
Touchstone of Ohio and Benjamin Touchstone of Lexington, NC, and seven 
grandchildren.
