WILLIAMSON:  Entered into rest at a local infirmary December 14, 1943, in the 
69th year of his age, Mr Wise Arthur Williamson, beloved husband of Mrs Bernie 
M Williamson.  Funeral services will be conducted at the residence, 1980 Battle 
Row this (Thursday) afternoon at 4:00 o'clock.  Rev Allen B Clarkson 
officiating.  Interment Westview cemetery.  Grealish, Poteet & Walker.

W.A. Williamson dies at Hospital
Wise Arthur Williamson, 68, husband of Mrs Bernie M Williamson, 1980 Battle 
Row, died yesterday afternoon at a local infirmary after an illness of one 
week.  Funeral services will be announced later.
Mr Williamson was a native of Aiken County, SC, and was a member of Crawford 
Avenue Baptist church.  He had lived in Augusta practically all his life.
Survivors include his wife; six daughters, Mrs Ed McMahon, Mrs H L Huffman, Mrs 
Harry Lowery, Mrs Nathan Huff, Miss Ramona Williamson, all of Augusta, Mrs 
James Taylor of Charleston, SC; five sons, Freddie, Williams, George P, Henry 
and Clarence Williamson; two sisters, Miss Fannie William son and Mrs C W 
Elliott; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a number of nieces 
and nephews.
