Husband of Mrs. Madeline (Fogle) DeWeen, Father of Edward DeWeen III, Mrs. Robert (Loretta) McConnell , and Paul DeWeen, all of this city. Brother of Leonard DeWeen of this city, Robert DeWeen of Augusta, GA, and Lloyd DeWeen of Dallas, TX. Brother of the late Mrs. Ellen Johns . Survivors also include 7 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 7-9pm Mondy and from 2-5 and 7-9 pm Tuesday at the M.J. Colucci Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St, where funeral services will be held Wed, May 14 at 8:30am and in St. Joseph R.C. Church at 9:15am. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Recitation of Vigil Prayers Tuesday 3:30pm at the Chapel. Edward DeWeen Jr. Edward DeWeen Jr, 61, died in Memorial Medical Center, Sunday (May 11, 1980) after a lengthy illness. A native of Augusta, GA, he came to Niagara Fally many years ago. He served in the US Army during World War II, and was employed at the former Sobin Chemical Co for 28 years as a chemical process operator, retiring in 1989 due to a disability. He is survived by his wife, Madeline (Fogle) DeWeen; two sons, Edward DeWeen III and Paul DeWeen both of this city; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Loretta) McConnell of this city; three brothers, Leonard of this city, Robert of Augusta , GA and Lloyd DeWeen of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mrs. Ellen Johns. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at the M.J. Colucci Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St, where services will be held Wednesday at 8:30am Services will also be held at 9:15am at St. Joseph's R.C . Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
