HIRAM S HALL, 52 DIES AT HOSPITAL
FUNERAL ANNOUNCED

Hiram Sylvester Hall, 52, of 1349 Broad St, died yesterday afternoon in a local 
infirmary after an illness of 10 days. Hea was the husband of Mrs. Lena 
Marshall Hall.
Mr. Hall a native of Jefferson County, had resided in Augusta the last 25 
years, He was cinnected with the Metropolitan and Virginia and Bankers 
Insurance Compaines a number of years, later going into business for homself by 
establishing the Hall Bedding Compnay. Following thins he was with Lenox Drug 
Company having retired about 2 years ago because of poor health.
Furneral services will be held at Elliott's Funeral Home tomorrow morning at 11 
o'clock. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Miss Dorothy Virginia 
Hall of Augusta, two brothers, J.A. Hall of Atlanta, and J.W. Hall of Harlem, 
THree sisters, Mrs. George Hammett of Augusta, Mrs. Mary K. Swint of Savannah 
and Mrs. Charlotte Usry of Mitchell, and several nieces and nephews.
