Hemingway Donald Thomas Hemingway, 4335 Rivera Way, Martinez, died Thursday in a Richmond County hospital. The funeral will be at 4pm Saturday at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, Martinez, with chaplain Capt. Wilfred Brewster Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Mr. Hemingway was a native of Swanton, VT, and lived in the Augusta area since 1962. He was a retired sergeant in the US Army, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Etta F. Hemingway; five sons, Donald Hemingway, Leominster, MA, Kenneth Hemingway, Madison, Staff Sgt. David Hemingway, Charleston Air Force Base, CA, Mark Hemingway, Blythe, and Doug Hemingway, Martinez; two daughters, Janet Mallett, Orange, MA, and Jean Morse, Fitchburg, MA; and two sisters, Barbara Renaudette, St. Albans, VT, and Viola Bourgeois, Burlington, VT. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 pm today or at the residence.
