Jackson

Mrs. Elilzabeth Jackson, age 76, widow of the late William B. Jackson, passed 
away at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. A.J. Zorn, Wednesday evening, May 
24, 1933.  She was the daughter of the late Hurt and Amanda Smith Shannon.  She 
leaves two daughters;  Mrs. A.J. Zorn of Thomaston, and Mrs. M.J. Ward of 
Griffin, two sons;  Olin G. Jackson and Arthur W. Jackson of Atlanta, four 
sisters;  Mrs. Ferrell Burch of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Thomas Burch of Seale, Ala., 
Mrs. Towns Walter of Atlanta, and Mrs. T.V. Rust of Jacksonville, Fla., three 
brothers;  W.W. Shannon and Guy Shannon of Williamson, Ga., and Ernest P. 
Shannon of Birmingham, Ala., thirteen grandchildren and six great 
grandchildren.  The funeral service will be held from the First Baptist Church 
this Friday morning at 10:00 o'clock with Rev. C.S. Durden of Swainsboro, Ga. 
officiating and interment will be make in Glenwood Cemetery.
