Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Westover Memorial Park, Augusta, with the Rev. Thomas L. Shores officiating. Mrs. Lamkin, a native of Louisville, Ga., was a longtime resident of Augusta. She was a retired seamstress at Cullens, a member of Woodlawn Methodist Church and a former employee of House of Brides and Burma’s. Survivors include two sons, William F. Lamkin, Smyrna, Ga., and Richard P. Lamkin, Ellenwood, Ga., a daughter, Linda Chandler, Gilbert, and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Platt’s Funeral Home, Crawford Avenue, Augusta. (Note: Frances Pauline Utley Lamkin, born July 21, 1909, was the daughter of Frederick “Kit” and Etta A. McClellan Utley of Burke and Jefferson Counties. Mrs. Lamkin was the wife of the late William Augustus Lamkin (1900-1953)
