Wm.Martin, Augusta Business Man, Dies in Baltimore Hospital.

Augusta, Ga., April 10-
Word has been received here of the death this morning of William Martin at a 
sanitarium in Baltimore, in which he has been a patient for several weeks.
Mr. Martin was 64 years of age and was a brother of Mrs. Leonard Phinizy and 
Mrrs. Albert Howell, of Atlanta.  He has for four years been a prominent 
citizen of August, having been a long time connected with the Georgia Railroad 
bank, later becoming a member of the investment firm of Bush & Martin, from 
which he retired to enter business by himself several years ago.
Mr. Martin had been in failing health for the past year and it was on this 
account that he was sent to Baltimore for treatment.  While he has been 
seriously ill his death was unexpected and news of it was received with sorrow 
and surprise today.  He leaves his widow, who was Mrs. Mary Lou Fleming, of 
Augusta, and by a daughter and grand-child.
