Augusta, Ga., July 17- Miss Laura A. McLaws, one of Augusta's oldest citizens, died tonight at the advanced age of seventy-eight. She was the only daughter of James and Elizabeth Huguenin McLaws. She was a woman of high intellectual attainments and pure Christian character. She was one of the oldest members of the First Baptist church. She leaves two brothers-General Lafayette McLaws and Major A. H. McLaws.
