MARY ZEMLAR BUGG NEWMAN 

Funeral today of Mrs. Mary Z. Newman

Mrs. Mary Zemela Newman, 91 years old, died on Tuesday afternoon 
at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. S. J. Wooten, in Atlanta.  
The body arrived in Augusta yesterday afternoon and the funeral 
services will be conducted this morning at 11 o'clock at R. E. 
Elliott and Son's Funeral home.  Rev. E. C. Sheridan officiating.  
Internment will follow in the Westover Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will be pallbearers: J. G. Anderson, 
W. H. Futch, Earl Jackson, Ediven James, Henry Ward, and 
A. R.  Williamson.

Survivors are:  Two daughters, Mrs Georgia Ward, Augusta, and 
Mrs. Mary Wilson,Atlanta: nine grandchildren, Mrs. Charles Fox, 
Augusta, Mrs W. A. Grant, Mrs S. J.Wooten, and Mrs H.W. Reeves 
all of Atlanta.  Mrs M. L. Haire, Thomasville, Miss Enola and
John Bridwell, St. Petersburg, Fla., Bert Moore, Elm Grove, 
West Virginia, and Harold Newman, Florida: nine great-
grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs Newman was a member of the Baptist church and was born in Richmond County
but for the past two years had made her home in Atlanta.
