DEATH OF ADAM OTTO.
Aged and Respected Business Man of
This City Passed Away Yesterday.
Funeral Today.
The death Is announced of Mr. Adam
Otto yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock
at his residence. HIS Broad street.
Mr. Otto waa a man who enjoyed the
respect and high esteem of many
friends, and yie news of his death was
received generally with sincere sorrow.
He came here from Germany many
years ago. and built up for himself a
prosperous business, growing with the
city. At the time of his death he was
83 years of age. He waa a consistent
and active member of St. Matthews
Lutheran church, from, which the funeral
will be held this morning at 11
o'clock.
The following gentlemen will act as
pallbearers: D, Saneken. B. Coleman,
p. Gehrken. R. A. Praln, C. T. Pane.
